As a Survey Analyst, you will play a key technical role supporting Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and remote sensing teams. You will transform field data into accurate maps, models, and deliverables using industry-leading software. This position involves CAD drafting, geospatial data processing, map preparation, and analytical support across a diverse portfolio of land surveying and geospatial assignments.

Daily Activities
· Support Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and team members with CAD drafting, map production, data processing, and related technical tasks.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern surveying methods, best practices, and procedures.
· Compile, interpret and verify field‑collected data, translating it into CAD environments using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
· Analyze survey and geospatial datasets to prepare reports, exhibits, field packages, digital deliverables, and other project documentation.
· Prepare topographic maps and digital terrain models (DTMs).
· Conduct research with public agencies to support project requirements.
· Demonstrate proficient, hands-on knowledge of Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil3D, and MicroStation.
· Learn and apply new processes, terminology, and regulatory standards related to LiDAR point clouds and other advanced survey datasets.
· Collaborate effectively in a team setting—supporting coworkers, sharing information, and following direction from project leads.
· Work on a wide variety of project types, ensuring accuracy, organization, and exceptional attention to detail.
Standards & Quality
· Adhere to surveying procedures, standards, and QC protocols (e.g., control establishment, instrument checks, field notes, metadata).
· Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on project data, drawings, and deliverables prior to internal review or client submission.
· Validate completeness and accuracy of field documentation (daily reports, photo logs, sketches, point descriptions).
· Partner with office staff to reconcile field/office discrepancies and support final deliverables (plats, base maps, surfaces, alignments).
· Land Surveyor in Training certification, preferred
· 5+ years of land surveying field experience.
· Strong technical proficiency with TBC, Civil3D, and MicroStation.
· Experience with geospatial, LiDAR, or remote sensing workflows a plus.
· Solid understanding of land surveying principles, data interpretation, and mapping workflows.
· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies, processes, and project requirements.
· Highly organized, professional, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
