Celedon High-Rise at 9th and Broadway, Construction Survey Services

GUIDA was asked to provide construction surveying services, which included detailed monitoring of the historical adjacent buildings—which was critical on this project—survey control, parking structure control for a 1.5-level garage, settlement monitoring, and street improvements for this 17-story mixed use LEED-certified structure that provides affordable housing in downtown San Diego. The building features outdoor common areas, great rooms, a media room, a laundry room, gardens, and a terrace on the 15th floor with bay views.

The building won a “Grand Orchid” at the 2017 Orchids & Onions Awards ceremony, as the jury unanimously celebrated the thoughtful design, crafted for the location as well as the building’s residents.
