City of San Diego’s Desert View Drive Outfall Erosion Repair

GUIDA was selected to provide construction staking services for the City of San Diego’s Desert View Drive Outfall Erosion Repair in La Jolla. GUIDA was tasked with performing construction surveys and associated services. The complete construction survey scope of work included field supervision, constructability reviews and construction computations, setting stakes to control the limits of clearing and grading, setting stakes to control the slope stakes and other key locations, setting stakes for access roads, easement and right of way lines, setting stakes for the final elevation of the improved slopes and contour lines, setting stakes for the new storm drain line with connection points and junction structures, and performing an as-built survey of the storm drain and grading at completion of the project.
