GUIDA has provided land surveying and mapping services to Contra Costa County on an as-needed basis. Projects have included:

Byron Highway and Camino Diablo Intersection Improvements
GUIDA performed several portions of topographic mapping and control research to uncover local monumentation. Using reflectorless topographic mapping technology in the field, the GUIDA team was able to identify areas that were difficult to access. Data was used to assist the creation of design mapping for the traffic signal and turn lane portions of the project.

Byron Highway Improvement Project
GUIDA preformed several portions of topographic mapping in the project area for future design. GUIDA worked closely with the County’s staff to tie into the local control and benchmarks as well as coordinate issues with property owners/access. GUIDA was able to provide a seamless product without delays in schedule or additional costs.
