County of Tulare, Pixley Main Street Improvement Project

GUIDA was responsible for providing construction surveying services for the Pixley Main Street Improvement Project in Tulare County. The project includes the construction of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, driveways, valley gutters, asphalt paveouts, underground and surface drainage improvements, ADA curb ramps, monument preservation, and striping and signage improvements along Main Street.

GUIDA has been tasked with providing construction staking at 50-foot intervals from the curb and gutter, stakes at the centerline of driveways, verifying project control for the storm drain line, providing stakes at 50-foot intervals for the storm drain line, offsets for each storm drain manhole, and stakes for the storm drain inlets and catch basins. GUIDA is also providing monument preservation for existing monuments within the project limits, preparing and filing pre-construction Corner Records with Tulare County, placing offset stakes for each monuments for the contractor to recover and/or reconstruction, verify the reconstruction monuments and preparing post construction Corner Records and filing these with Tulare County.
