RCTC, Mid-County Parkway Sweeney Mitigation Site

The Mid County Parkway is a new 16-mile transportation corridor designed to relieve east-west traffic congestion in Riverside County near the San Jacinto and Perris areas, proposed between Interstate 215 and State Route 79. The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) plans to build this transportation link to enhance the quality of life in the area by reducing the projected increase in traffic congestion.

GUIDA is providing construction management services, materials testing and construction surveying to support the completion of the project. GUIDA was subcontracted to provide job hazard analysis to identify any safety concerns, construction staking surveys, recovering horizontal and vertical control, document site conditions with UAV and GPS survey methods, as-built surveys to document newly built improvements, and preserving survey monuments that might be lost or destroyed during construction.
